Pic Name

My project that I am working on right now is the picture-name assignment. In this project we either have to go take pictures of things that resemble letters or find pictures on the internet. I chose to get mine off the internet, it will be easier and i do not have the time to go looking or taking pictures at my house. I had a lot of trouble at first trying to find my pictures. I am not a very creative person and i get frustrated really easily. The pictures are kind of hard to find but once you find some you want to go and find more because it is a lot of fun. I found some really cool pictures to spell my name. I even got my project in a little bit early before it was due.

The Sun

It was a quiet day on the Sun. The above image shows, however, that even during off days the Sun's surface is a busy place. Shown in ultraviolet light, the relatively cool dark regions have temperatures of thousands of degrees Celsius. Large sunspot group AR 9169 is visible as the bright area near the horizon. The bright glowing gas flowing around the sunspots has a temperature of over one million degrees Celsius. The reason for the high temperatures is unknown but thought to be related to the rapidly changing magnetic field loops that channel solar plasma. Sunspot group AR 9169 moved across the Sun during 2000 September and decayed in a few weeks. Nemiroff, Robert. "APOD: 2004 October 10 - Sunspot Loops in Ultravoilet." Astronomy Picture of the Day. This picture is astonishing to look at. I have never seen more of a pretty picture in my life. This picture has a lot of symbolic meaning to me. The fire almost reminds me of what I imagine as Hell looking like. The flames would consume you and you would burn forever. This picture also reminds me of destruction. All the forest fires the people out in California have been having. The fires have not only been damaging people's house but the forest and it is destroying a lot of animals environments. This picture almost reminds me the symbol of power. Fire can have a lot of strength and can keep you warm when nothing else can, kind of like the sun.

going crazy

Tonight we have our biggest rivalry game against Peoria Richwoods. This will be the second time we play them. We played them first at their home but not its time for them to come to our house. We beat them the first time but i think they will be ready to come and bring it. Today we got a talk to not boo the other team because there is an old Notre Dame student that transferred. We like to rip on him but we got in trouble. And now if we do it we get kicked out. Even though Dunlap did it to us in soccer because one of their students transferred to ND. It was one of the greatest moments of the season when he scored the first goal against them. I think we should be able to yell whatever we want.

Swim Away

I believe the media is going way to far in their reporting. Michael Phelps is not only a great athlete he is a great role model. Even though he did do weed he is a human being. Every person in the world makes errors. He may be a a great swimmer but that doesn't make him perfect. Every one falls to temptations no one is perfect. But the media doesn't need to trespass or infiltrate his privacy. Many people believe that stars like Phelps should have a camera following them all the time, but what they really want most is having some alone time and not have the media bug them all the time.

Just a few days ago I had to do a project on oil spills. At first I didn’t think much of it until I got into the project. I learned how much damage one oil spill can do.  There are so many animals that are affected by the oil. Some animals are becoming endangered from it. A company called Exxon Valdez had one of the worlds largest oil spills in the world. They spent 2.1 billion dollars on the just the clean up alone. They also use a lot of resources that could have been used for better things. They also killed over 300,000 animals.

Mortgage

I think the government should give you aid if you need the help paying for your house. There also wouldn't be any strings attached. There are many people in the United States that are homeless or getting their house seized by the bank. The bak should not have an say in your house. Banks will always have a say in your house so they should at least be fair and not take your house ever. If my house was going to be taken there would only be two people I could turn to. One would be my grandma and the other one would be my parents.
