Future Career

There are many jobs in the world today I am not one hundred percent sure. One thing i might want to be is a marine biologist. Marine biologist would be a very cool job. Marine biology works with animals. I love animals and it is a lot of fun to learn new things about animals. Another job i might want to have is to be a fireman. My dad is a fireman and I have seen a lot of people do this job. I know a lot of people that have been a fireman or is a fireman now. They do a lot of great things, they help people and save a lot of people. They only have to work once every three days so you can do a lot of things on your time off.

Service Project

For Peoria Notre Dame School you have to do one hundred service hours before you can graduate. Service hours mean you don't get paid to do work. I chose to do my service hours with a friend. Myself and Nate Bell helped out assisting teaching. We assisted a teacher at the school of Thomas Jefferson. We did one hundred and three hours. We worked with second graders during the summer. We did it before freshman year so we did not have to worry about it later. We helped out where ever we were needed. We did everything from stacking books to helping the kids to read. It was a lot of fun and not having to worry about the feeling that you have to do one hundred service hours.

Paul Harvey

Paul Harvey was an American radio broadcaster for ABC. The son of a policeman, Harvey made radio receivers as a young boy. In 1933, at a high school teacher’s suggestion, he started working at KVOO in Tulsa. His first job was helping clean up. Eventually he was allowed to fill in on the air, reading commercials and the news. In 1944, he began broadcasting form the ABC partner WENR. He quickly became the most popular newscaster in Chicago. He was a very famous. Unfortunately I never got to hear but maybe sometime soon I will get to watch him on the internet.
